INTRODUCTION
The Oleo Filling Replenishment Rig consists of a stainless steel rectangular tank of 11 litres capacity, mounted on a two-wheeled trolley. The tank is fitted with a hydraulic pump, filler cap, strainer, sight glass, vent and drain plug.

The tank is filled with hydraulic fluid OM15. Operation of the hydraulic displacement pump forces the oil out of the tank and through a 5 micron filter, which is mounted on the outlet of the pump. A two metre delivery hose carries the fluid to the oleo of the aircraft. The delivery hose is fitted with a connection that suits the oleo of the Lynx / EH101 aircraft. Continued operation of the hand pump will fill the oleo and raise the leg to the desired position. This operation must be carried out in accordance with Westland’s agreed procedure.
