Preparing the CFM56-5B engine is a simple PS3 disconnect from the FADEC which is accessible from the opening of a fan cowl. Our long engine probes, which take only minutes to fit, are then inserted through the exhaust and hooked behind the fan, directing hot water straight into the booster. As easy as that.
Juniper’s long probes now come in a convenient and hard-wearing wheeled case for protection and ease of use.
Washing time takes only 20-25 minutes followed by the post wash test in accordance with AMM.
Waste water from the wash is collected using our containment mat, which is conveniently mounted on a purpose built Juniper trolley (JMP/KYOTO/D/6777/C200) and is easily deployed under the engine to prevent any waste water entering the hangar drainage system.
