Juniper have developed this trailer in response to customer enquiries for a convenient and efficient method of moving various items of Juniper equipment easily and quickly to any part of an airfield at short notice. The lightweight trailer (JMP/CF34/D/7030) comes equipped with one of our popular lightweight compressor wash rigs modified to include onboard heaters, 2 sets of wash probes, the Kyoto engine wash waste water collection mat, and a self contained battery powered vacuum unit with onboard waste water storage.
So, everything needed to wash an engine and collect all the waste water is now available in one convenient mobile storage unit – The trailer even comes with a recharging facility for the vacuum unit’s onboard battery.
Our first customer for this lightweight trailer was BA City Flyer based at Edinburgh Airport in Scotland, and Steve Marshall delivered the trailer and commissioned the equipment by washing both CF34-10E engines on one of their Embraer 190 aircraft. Prior to the wash, the trailer was unloaded and staff were given training in deploying the mat, using the rig and handling the vacuum unit. Once familiar with the equipment, everything was stowed back on the trailer and towed out to the runway where the aircraft was waiting for them.
Both engines were washed and BA City Flyer declared themselves happy with results and praised the Juniper equipment for its ease of use and versatility.
