Transaero Engineering Ireland Ltd. recently bought one of our high capacity 2×50 gallon compressor wash rigs (JMP/LUFT/D/4972/C500) together with a range of engine wash probes to go with it.
In January of this year Steve Marshall travelled to Shannon Airport, Ireland to commission the rig and give training in its operation to a team of Transaero’s engineers. A Maersk Star Air Freighter, Boeing 767-200SF was scheduled for the wash, and once the engines had been prepared in accordance with the AMM and a set of Juniper’s CF6-80C2 short probes (JMP/CF6/D/4037) fitted, the wash went without a hitch.
All present were delighted with the rig’s performance and a total of twenty four engineers were trained in its use.
